Woman Alleges Rape in Famagusta Area
A 46-year-old man was arrested last night after allegations of rape from a 37-year-old woman who worked for him as a housemaid, said police today.
The woman alleged that she was repeatedly raped between May and July 2009. According to police, the woman also reported that she was beaten by the suspect.
Famagusta police are investigating her claims.
