Paphos Woman Alleges Kidnap, Rape
A 24-year-old Paphos woman reported to police last night that she was bundled into a car by an assailant, who tried to rape her and ripped her clothes, said a police statement today.
The woman said she was walking in Paphos at around 2.40 am, when an unknown man approached her and forced her into his car. He then drove to a deserted area and stopped the car, where he tried to rape her. The woman managed to get out of the car and called for help - her assailant escaped the scene.
Paphos police are investigating.
