We'll Appeal - Kyprianou
Foreign Minister Marcos Kyprianou said that the government will appeal a proposed regulation for direct trade between the EU and the Turkish-Cypriot community should it pass an EU parliamentary debate.
"We will use all the institutional and political procedures we have at our disposal, and even if the regulation is promoted in the end, we will appeal to the Court of the European Communities,`` Kyprianou said.
The dormant proposal for direct trade was recently revived after the government's veto in 2004 and is due to be debated in the European Parliament in June.
