Fifth Hadjicostis Murder Suspect Still At Large

grigoris xenofontosGrigoris Xenofontos, the fifth suspect in the murder of DIAS CEO Andy Hadjicostis has still not been located, five months after the shooting took place on January 11th.

Speaking to, a police spokesman said there was nothing new in the manhunt for Xenofontos, who has international and INTERPOL warrants on his head.

He is suspected of being the shooter in the alleged contract killing which prosecutors say was organised by Eleni Skordelli and her brother Tassos Krassopoulis and carried out by Andreas Gregoriou and Fanos Hadjigeorgiou, all of whom are in custody. Hadjigeorgiou is in the witness protection programme after a full confession implicating the others and has not been charged.

Skordelli and Krassopoulis are set be tried June 7th, and all three suspects who have been charged have pleaded not guilty.

Andy Hadjicostis was shot twice in the chest on the night of January 11th by a man who escaped on a motorcycle with an accomplice.
