Iran to Expand Relations - Ahmadinejad

ahmedinejadPresident of the Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said yesterday that Iran is 'ready to expand relations with Cyprus in all fields.'

Speaking at a meeting with the new Cypriot ambassador to Iran, Efstathios Orphanides, Ahmadinejad said there is no limit on the expansion of all-out cooperation between the two countries.

Orfanides said Cyrus is determined to further bolster friendly ties with Iran, which has recently been hit with a new round of UN sanctions regarding its nuclear development programme.
