Laiki Sells Australia Branch To Bank of Beirut
Marfin Laiki Popular Bank said it has sold 85 percent of Laiki Bank Australia to Bank of Beirut for 142.9 million Australian dollars, said the group in a statement.
The sale - which was completed after approval from the Central Bank of Lebanon - will result in a profit of 52.7 million euros for the year 2011, said Laiki.
