There is good news for music lovers after Paradise Place announced that it will re-open on weekends until Easter, and Londa Hotel plus Fluffyfish Productions said that their Jazz Series continues on Sunday March 13th with singer Ioanna Troullidou.
Greetings from Pomos and some words from owner Socratis Efstathiou:
"First of all I would like to wish all of you good health & positive spirit. These are very important tools to have for making a better day. A world full of good health & positive spirit. This is the TARGET, no? Love, communication, co-operation, money, education, travel & the rest, follow the pure energy of positive thinking.
Second, Paradise Place likes to be open! So we will keep it open only at weekends until Easter time from this Saturday coming, with a light snack menu and a couple of weekend specials, (something for the veggies too), a lot of good music of course & friendly prices. We can prepare more things if we know you are coming.
It feels like coming home ..."
‘Jazzy Brunch’ is back again!
The eagerly anticipated Londa Jazz Series returns, with the second of its JazzyBrunch, with ‘The Lady sings Jazz’ with Ioanna Troullidou (right) on Sunday 13th March at 13:00.
The jazz singer is a rising star on the European jazz circuit and will perform a sensual set of familiar classical jazz standards ranging from Cole Porter to Duke Ellington.
Songs recorded by Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald among others will be presented by Charis Ioannou on saxophone, Marios Toumbas on piano, Irenaeos Koullouras (left) on contrabass and George Koulas on drums.
"This is a combined effort in a series of projects to promote local & international musical excellence," says producer Matthew Steliou.
