Israeli Flute Player Ilan Salem on Cyprus Tour

Israel’s best known flute player, Ilan Salem, will tour Cyprus with his Ethnic Jazz Ensemble from the 12-15 of May.

Ilan Salem is widely considered ‘the’ flute player of his generation and is a charismatic and talented educator. 

‘The Ilan Salem Ethnic Jazz Ensemble featuring Rechela’ is a unique combination of Middle Eastern influenced Jazz ranging from ethnic, classical, Arabic to latino and the stunning vocals of Rechela with rhythms of Khaleeji – the popularized traditional music of the Bedouin of the Gulf and Sinai Peninsulas. 

Featuring all original compositions, their music is a whirlwind tour of the modern Middle East and captures the wide kaleidoscope of Israel's & the Middle East’s cultural landscape.
