Salmonella Warning - Tainted Eggs

Consumers have been warned not to buy a batch of Petrides Organic eggs marked OCY4132.38 from Yeroudi poultry farm in Marki, Nicosia after traces of salmonella were found.
The farm owner said he was cooperating with authorities to destroy eggs and poultry suspected of being contaminated.
The eggs are being withdrawn from the market and have an expiry date of July 17th.
It is the second salmonella contamination this year after a similar incident in April.
