Public Healthcare On Life Support - Kyriakidou
The Council of Minister's decision to limit budgets in all ministries without exception has put the Ministry of Health in a difficult position and public health services on life support, said DISY MP Stella Kyriakidou.
"With this decision, the Ministry of Health is not in a position to cover the needs of patients," said Kyriakidou.
The financial problems of Cyprus' public medical services and hospitals are well known, she said, calling on the council of ministers to make an exception for the Health Ministry.
