June 2011 Inflation Rises to 4.5%
The inflation rate rose to 4.5 percent in June 2011, compared to 4.1 percent in May 2011 and 1.9 percent in June 2010, said the Cyprus Statistical Service (CYSTAT).
The rise was mainly due to higher vegetable, clothing, electricity and airfare prices, according to the survey.
Inflation rose 3.3 percent between January and June 2011 compared to the same period in 2010, said CYSTAT.
