Young Journalist / Writer Contest
CyprusNewsReport.com welcomes article submissions from young journalists or writers aged 18 to 26, with one winning entry published each month until July 2010.
To enter, send your story to editor@cyprusnewsreport.com. Please read the rules below to ensure your entry will be valid:
1. Stories must be on the following topics: Business, Culture, People, Politics, Education or Environment.
2. Stories must have a connection with Cyprus.
3. All nationalities are welcome to enter their stories, however, the stories must be in English.
4. Only entries from age group 18-26 will be accepted, please provide date of birth.
5. Your entry must have your name and address.
6. Word limit is 600 words.
7. Monthly winners will receive a certificate from CyprusNewsReport.com.
8. Winning entries are at the discretion of CyprusNewsReport.com experienced editors.
9. Stories must have an element of new information.
10. Published stories will carry a legal disclaimer that they are not necessarily the views held by CyprusNewsReport.com.
DEADLINE for submissions is the 21st of each month January to July 2010. Submissions are being accepted as of December 1st, 2009.
