Syrian Army Fires on Thousands of Protestors in Homs - Activists
Activists fear another day of many dead after the Syrian army fired tear gas and bullets at an estimated 200,000 protestors in Homs.
According the Editor of Syrian Hurriyat Kareem Lailah via Twitter.com, there is chaos in Homs after a 60-year-old man was shot to death and security forces fired live rounds at the crowds heading towards Freedom Square.
Arab League observers have just arrived in the city which has been a centre of violence since March amid an ongoing crackdown on anti-Assad demonstrators.
There are an estimated 25 dead in today's demonstrations, said Lailah.
