Storms, Snow On The Way This Weekend

Rainstorms and snowfall are forecast for this weekend and Monday and Tuesday next week, said the Meteorological Service.

Rain and storms will start tonight across the island and the temperature will fall to 16-17 Celsius. Heavy snow is forecast for Troodos, so anyone visiting the mountains should take snow chains with them.

Stormy weather from Europe has made its way through Greece to Cyprus and weather conditions are expected to improve by the middle of next week.
