Commerce Minister Releases Names Of Gas Stations Involved In Pump Scam

Minister of Commerce Neoclis Sylikiotis has released the names of the stations involved in a scam where pumps were tampered with in order to deliver less fuel. Five people have been arrested thus far and police are investigating more cases.

The named and shamed petrol stations are:

Total Plus, 57 Famagusta Avenue, Nicosia

LUKOIL, Tseri Avenue, Nicosia

LUKOIL, 67 Artemis Avenue, Larnaca

Total Plus, 21Venus Avenue, Tremithousa, Paphos.

The issue will be discussed today and the Parliamentary Committee on Trade. Government departments are checking gas stations all over Cyprus to determine if more of them are involved in similar types of fraud.
