44-year-old Man Dead in Larnaca Road Accident

nicos parissinosA 44-year-old man was killed in a road accident yesterday morning at 5am after losing control of his car on the old road between Meneou-Pervolia, said police.

The car veered off the road into the guard rail and then crashed into a tree, trapping Nicos Parissinos in the car.

Members of the fire services managed to free him from the car but it was too late. When he was taken to Larnaca General Hospital, the doctor on duty could only certify his death.
