EasyPower Applies for Photovoltaic Park License

EasyPower Ltd has applied for a license to build a 21MW solar park in Potamia, saying it will produce electricity at a lower cost than the Electricity Authority of Cyprus.
The cost per kilowatt hour is seen at 0.135 eur/kwh compared to the EAC's 0.159 eur/kwh charge.
The project will be an investment of 30 million euros and will not be supported by a government grant from the Renewable Energy Fund, said the company in a statement.
Potamia is in the Nicosia district.
